DIGITAL TECHNICIAN

 

The Digital Technician will be responsible for providing on-site tech support to our location and studio clients. We are looking for someone who is personable but also possesses a strong technical background.

 

Candidate must have the following:

 

●      Knowledge of and prior experience working with small and medium format camera systems

●      Strong technical background

●     Proficiency in Capture One Software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Mac OS

●      Basic retouching knowledge

●      Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

●      Excellent communication skills

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

●      Overseeing all manners of digital capture on set, tethering, checking focus, file naming, managing backups, and processing

●      Managing deliverables to clients

●     Archiving shoots on the Root servers

●      Working alongside the Digital Director to optimize the capture workflow

●      Troubleshoot any issues that may arise on set

●      Communicating with rest of the Digital Department on any on-set needs

●      When not on set, assisting Digital Coordinators with daily operations

●     Interfacing with clients and creating estimates

●     Ensuring that all of the client’s digital needs are met

●     Managing sub-rentals and vendor relationships

●     Cleaning and prepping equipment for location and studio shoots

●     Testing and maintaining rental inventory (cameras, lenses, and computers)

●     Providing walk-in, telephone, and email support

●     Maintaining the cleanliness of our rental equipment and the digital suite

Knowledge & Proficiency Requirements:

 

●      Small and Medium format camera systems

●      Phase One Capture One Software

●     Adobe Creative Suite

●      Current Mac and Windows Operating Systems

●      College Level Photography Background

PRODUCTION & POST PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

 

The Production & Post Production coordinator will assist the Director of Production and the Head of Post Production on various live action and post-production projects, in a full-service creative production department focusing on video, based within a high-end established photo and video rental studio & rental equipment company.

 

Live action production coordination responsibilities include sourcing and booking crews, talent, catering, studios, and locations. Coordinating equipment lists, creating call sheets, creating pre-production books, creating shoot schedules with DPs and directors, and setting up creative pre-production calls. On-set production coordination responsibilities include keeping shoot within budget and on schedule. Gathering invoices and receipts and assisting in actualizing budget after shoots wrap.

 

Post Production Coordination responsibilities include assisting in creating post-production schedules and ensuring projects are staying on schedule. Receiving edit feedback and assets from clients, organizing, and sharing with editors. Client services when clients are in-house for edit sessions.

 

Junior Editor responsibilities include ingesting footage, organizing and preparing assets and footage for Head of Post Production. Working knowledge of Adobe CS including Adobe Premiere required. Some light editing required. Backing up footage after job wraps. Uploading edits to share with clients.

 

Additional responsibilities include working alongside Director of Production and Director of Marketing as well as equipment and studio directors to continue to grow the business through industry research, creating social media content and sales assets.

EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR: NIGHT SHIFT

 

Will be responsible for facilitating equipment orders for location and studio clients. We are looking for someone who is personable and possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

 

Candidate must have the following:

 

●      Knowledge of and prior experience working with strobe and constant lighting systems as well as grip and production gear

●      Valid Driver’s License and experience driving cargo vans, sprinters and cube trucks

●      Strong technical background

●      Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

●      Excellent communication skills

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

●      Packing and testing orders for location and studio orders as well as handling the return of orders

●      Ensuring that all of the client’s equipment needs are met

●      Managing sub-rentals and vendor relationships

●      Cleaning and prepping equipment for location and studio shoots

●      Providing walk-in, telephone, and email support

●      Maintaining the cleanliness of our rental equipment

●      Proficiency in Capture One Software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Mac OS.

●      Being the point of contact for all motion and digital equipment requests

●      Ensuring that all of the client’s digital needs are met

●      Managing sub-rentals and vendor relationships

●      Cleaning and prepping equipment for location and studio shoots

●      Testing and maintaining rental inventory (cameras, lenses, computers, etc)

●      Providing walk-in, telephone and email support

●      Maintaining the cleanliness of our rental equipment and the digital suite.

STUDIO SERVICE

 

Full-time Studio Service position available for both NYC and BKN locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, general reception duties, assisting clientele with administrative tasks, receiving and tracking of client packages, and facilitating purchasing for the studios. Part-time barista position available for our NYC location. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, basic knowledge of coffee and preparing coffee drinks, ordering and maintaining stock for entire cafe, keeping cafe equipment and environment clean, building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
